Pleasant Surprise
At the end of the our last game in the Silverlakes Tournament, I was approached by a tournament official to hand me a card. The card reads, “Game Changer.” It was such a nice surprise. They gave me a shirt too.
Learning to score
This season I have committed to scoring goals. I have played defensive midfielder for most of my soccer life. For years, I have been accustomed to just starting the offense, finding the right pass. This season, I am our team’s top scorer. There’s a lot of good learning as I play an attacking midfielder more. Apart from the goals, it makes me a better defensive midfielder.
